Lesson 17: Demonstrative Pronouns: These, Those
ये, वे (These / Those)
Rule (नियम)
ये (पास वाले — बहुवचन) = These, वे (दूर वाले — बहुवचन) = Those। These/Those के बाद 'are' लगता है और संज्ञा बहुवचन में होती है।
These = ये (near, plural) | Those = वे (far, plural). Use 'are' with these/those + plural noun.
Examples
ये घोड़े हैं।
These are horses.
वे कुत्ते हैं।
Those are dogs.
ये कुर्सियाँ हैं।
These are chairs.
वे घड़ियाँ हैं।
Those are watches.
वे चित्र हैं।
These are pictures.
वे जूते हैं।
Those are shoes.
