ORDINALS (क्रमवाचक संख्याएँ)
नियम (Rules):
1. Ordinals उन संख्याओं को कहते हैं जो किसी क्रम (Order) या स्थान (Position) को दर्शाती हैं। जैसे: first (पहला), second (दूसरा)।
2. महीनों के नाम या सप्ताह के दिनों का क्रम बताने के लिए इनका प्रयोग किया जाता है।
3. Ordinals के पहले प्रायः 'the' का प्रयोग होता है।
जनवरी साल का पहला महीना है।
January is the first month of the year.
फरवरी साल का दूसरा महीना है।
February is the second month of the year.
मार्च साल का तीसरा महीना है।
March is the third month of the year.
अप्रैल साल का चौथा महीना है।
April is the fourth month of the year.
मई साल का पाँचवाँ महीना है।
May is the fifth month of the year.
जून साल का छठा महीना है।
June is the sixth month of the year.
