Was और Were (था, थे, थी) का प्रयोग
Rule (नियम)
I/He/She/It/Singular के साथ 'was' और We/You/They/Plural के साथ 'were' लगता है। ये past tense (भूतकाल) के लिए हैं।
I/He/She/It → was | We/You/They → were (past tense of am/is/are)
Examples
वह बूढ़ा था।
He was old.
तुम वहाँ थे।
You were there.
हमलोग खुश थे।
We were happy.
वे बीमार थे।
They were ill.
रामू किसान था।
Ramu was a farmer.
वह विद्यार्थी था।
He was a student.
आकाश नीला था।
The sky was blue.
