Lesson 15: Negative Sentences (Past)
नकारात्मक वाक्य — भूतकाल (Not with Was/Were)
Rule (नियम)
Was / Were के बाद 'not' लगाकर भूतकाल के नकारात्मक वाक्य बनाते हैं।
To make past negative sentences, add 'not' after was/were.
Examples
अमर मोटा नहीं है।
Amar is not fat.
वह यहाँ नहीं था।
He was not here.
यह चीटी नहीं है।
This is not an ant.
वह मेरा कोट नहीं है।
That is not my coat.
